Feature Request: Auto Center

As I have been using an Android Map app lately (as my iPad has a broken GPS receiver), one feature I am liking is the Auto Map Center feature.

When this feature is enabled with a corresponding time (15sec, 30sec, 60sec…), the user can pan and when left idle, the app will auto center after the specified time. I find it very useful when I am driving alone, panning the map searching left and right, and it will auto center on its own giving me free hand for driving. Saves time having to press on that small « Center-Button ».

This could be a nice feature, but also annoying when auto-center is not expected.

I think it should only auto-center the map when moving (above a certain speed).

And it should be easy to switch on/off.
