Kind of funny I can’t tell you what version I have just downloaded, because I can’t open it.
I have restarted my iPad, and PE Pro now won’t open at all. The opening screen appears and PE immediately crashes. iOS 7.1, iPad 2.
Maybe my iPad is just too old to handle the latest PE? Is there a way to restore or get an older version, without having to Restore my whole iPad? Thanks!

No iPad 2 should still run PE just fine. Must be something else.. Can you check using iTunes if PE produced a Recovery.udb file in its Documents folder? If so, please email this to us!
A crash here, too on my iPad Air 2 with 8.4. Pocket Earth Pro 2.8. Went to look at Natters, Austria. Found it, then closed the ‘Route-Track’ side bar and I had a complete lockup and had to power off and restart the iPad. Note that the Austrian Map had already been saved in the iPad.
Ah, impulsive me. Before I saw the response, I had I deleted PE from the iPad and re-downloaded it, hoping that might fix the problem. It seems to have fixed the immediate crashing, but unfortunately also must have deleted any associated files. No report log available now.
I’ll have to wait a few days and re-download my maps.
I the meantime, the attached file, when Imported, does not contain my Groups. Guess I’ve created more problems than I’m solving!
Edited to add: [2015-06-24 08h40m13s]Export.pocketearth_archive is too large to send through the Forum, so I can’t attach it to give information about the missing Groups. Sorry!
