Hi: The routing default is walking. I propose changing the name to « hiking » or adding a new pathfinder called « walking (shortest route) ». The reason is because when doing a route to a favourite, it uses the mechanism set in « New Route ». I was experimenting and had it route me to the post office when it decided on a rather long trail. Turns out walking favours actual trails so it took the really long way around and it wasn’t immediately obvious until I started experimenting, so this is a user interface issue as well. The correct setting is any of the other 3 normally.
If a route pattern is found for walking « shortest distance » then it should also allow going against one way streets as sidewalks tend to exist and an even shorter path can be found by walking on one way streets.
