Search Nearby is closing an active track

When I follow a track I like to search for campings (or something else) along the track. 

The problem is that when performing a Search nearby and select ‘Show all on map’ this will close the track. 

Would it be possible to leave the track open when doing a Search Nearby » Show all on map?

(Same goes for a calculated Route, but then the message is displayed about closing the route first.)
