Touch text cursor broken in Notes

iPad 2, iOS 7.1; PE Pro 2.5

Dear Friends,

May be a problem only with with my aging machine and iOS. But thought I’d mention it.

When Editing some Notes, I cannot move the insertion point/text cursor. I touch Edit, the keyboard appears. I touch-and-hold on text, the insertion point/text cursor-with magifying circle appears. Any movement of my finger causes the text to scroll either up or down, out of sight.

Testing shows this only occurs when the text overflows the height of the Notes screen. Notes with only a few lines of text don’t scroll away.
