I hadn’t realised that PE supported What3words. (Briefly, locations are described by three words, which are a lot easier to use than standard grid references.)

Yep! And just like our other supported coordinate systems, you can:

    • Search for locations offline by entering in the search bar at the top of the main menu.
    • Copy from another app and open Pocket Earth, it will auto-detect it and ask you if you want to view on the map.
    • Set as your preferred coordinate display format to see it used for map center point and on Pins, POI, etc.

For those who have not come across it before, an example:

    The Eiffel Tower is at 48.85871° N, 2.29447° E
    Alternatively it is at spark.tulip.visions
