Importing GPX does not respect selected color

When importing a GPS track, the track always shows blue although selecting different color at time of import.
Changed a few versions ago. Was okay until then.

Just to be clear, the color picker shown at time of import is the color for waypoints (pins) included in a GPX-track, not the color for the track.

But, you are right that the color for an imported track used to get the same color as the last selected track color.

In an upcoming version you will be able to set a default color for a new track (and route).

… and even better, you get to choose the color of the track at the time of import.
