    I use PE all the time to track hikes. After the last update tracking no longer works for me. Just now I turned it on and it said “required data downloading” so I let it finish that and then restarted the app and went for a walk around my local park. It tracked part of the walk properly but it seems when it was out of wifi reach or I had the cellular data turned off it ceased tracking and there was a straight line on the map where it lost and picked up signal again. I cannot let it use cellular data the entire length of a hike, not only for battery reasons but I also have a very limited data plan. What’s the solution? It always worked perfectly until now!
