    The help file says “ Auto Waypoints: When this setting is enabled, just select any POI or Pin on the map to see a geodesic line with distance and azimuth shown. Useful for hiking and outdoor navigation.”

    Perhaps I should navigate to Specsavers (silly English humour) but I cannot for the life of me find this switch in settings – someone put me out of my misery please

    Go to the top of the main menu,where you can switch between Standard, Hiking, Sailing, etc. Tap on e.g. Standard, where it says Tap to Configure. Auto Waypoints is at the top of the list, under Options, with POI underneath.

    Ah, thanks. I was confused by the word “setting” in the Help file
