When I look at the Japan map and zoom in to any level that shows any detail at all (street names, sights, etc.), they all seem to be in Chinese (I’m guessing), but certainly not any representation of Japanese. This doesn’t appear to change no matter whether I choose OSM default, international, local or English.. I have the Transliterate text set to Latin. If this is the case, then I’m not about to go ahead and purchase the Pro version of this app, as it’s not really helpful at all. I’d be better off looking at a map in Kanji.
